US Healthcare Plans

The US Healthcare plans proposed by President Obama, although a start,
are not in anyway sufficent to bring about the most basic healthcare
to the people.
Providing money to help the people feed the capitalist hospitals in
America is in no way helping anyone and is simply bringing about the
eventual destruction of the working classes and then they can begin to
exploit not only the people but also the the 'democratic' government.
America needs to move towards providing their people with basic rights
such as healthcare. This could be achieved by slightly increasing
taxes - particually on the big buisnesses and the rich - and diverting
money from their 'defence' and instead putting into actually helping
people instead of killing them off.

Scottish Independence

This fresh proposal by the SNP is yet another sign of how much the unity between the people of Britain is under strain. As always the SNP argues that Scotland should be independent in order to be free to make it's own descions and overall, sucseed independent of the rest of Britain so that it can tackle issues concerning the Scottish people more thoroughly.
But surely in these hard economic times and times of great differences surely the best thing to do would be for the people of Britain and Scotland to stay united so that together we can overcome capitalism and opression. Not split ourselves up and impose needless borders between ourselves.
I believe that together the people of Britain should stay united for a better Britain, and ultimately a better World.
